Henry Paul has signed a new three-year deal with Gloucester which will see him end his playing career at Kingsholm. The New Zealand-born centre, made his name in rugby league with Wigan and Bradford before switching codes with financial backing from the RFU.
He has made three Test appearances for England and been a mainstay of the Sevens team in recent seasons.
Australian stand-off Duncan McRae has also penned a new two-year contract with the Cherry and Whites.
Paul's new contract does not include any funding from the RFU, and will see the 30-year-old finish his career at Kingsholm.
He told the Gloucester website: "'I like the club, the game of rugby union, the players and the whole environment.
"This new contract will mean I'm seeing out my career at Gloucester, which is a big thing to say."
Director of rugby Nigel Melville said: "Henry's commitment for the next three years shows his feelings towards this club and also the fact that he knows his future is here at Kingsholm."
On McRae he added: "Duncan is a quality number 10, and since his arrival in October he has proved his talent. He's settled in so well and is something very special."
