Cairns is one of five new players Sarries have signed for next season |
Hooker Matt Cairns will rejoin Saracens for the start of next season. The 24-year-old left Sarries at the end of last season to join Sale Sharks but will now return to the club where he spent six seasons.
"Matt is very keen to come back to us and we are delighted to have him back," said Saracens head coach Rod Kafer.
"He's another player who has England A experience and is on the fringe of international honours. He fits right in with our recruitment process."
Cairns was a graduate of the Saracens Academy and has made 16 appearances for the Sharks this term.
He joins Alex Sanderson, Iain Fullerton, Hugh Vyvyan and Dan Scarborough as new players to be joining Saracens for the start of next season.
