The 27-year-old England A player is the third high-profile forward to join the club in the last two weeks, after Alex Sanderson and Iain Fullarton.

Saracens head coach Rod Kafer said: "Not only is Hugh an excellent player and leader, he can play in a number of positions and gives us versatility.

Kafer is keen to build strength in depth as he tries to move the club forward.
