Wigan half-back Sam Tomkins has been cleared to play against Hull KR at the JJB Stadium on Friday in the Super League after avoiding suspension. The 20-year-old was found guilty by a Rugby Football League disciplinary committee of kicking out in the tackle during Saturday's win over Wakefield. He was fined £300 but the committee decided not to impose the ban. Tomkins scored his side's fifth try against Wakefield in the Challenge Cup win, his seventh this season.
