Briers has four Super League tries for Warrington this season |
Warrington stand-off Lee Briers says the Wolves cannot get too carried away with Friday's 24-6 victory over Wigan. The 32-year-old believes they must avoid complacency and add to the win over the current league champions. Briers told BBC Radio Merseyside: "We're building a confidence which is good. We can't get carried away with it and we must keep moving forward. "There's plenty of good sides about and we can't take our foot off the peddle because we'll be burned if we do that." Warrington currently top the Super League table with 12 points, three points ahead of the Warriors, but the Wales international says his side will not think about a league title hunt just yet. That's the aim but it's early in the season," Briers added. "There's plenty of room for improvement and there's plenty of time to do it."
