McCarthy has played for Ireland
Wakefield Trinity Wildcats have signed Warrington Wolves back rower Tyrone McCarthy on a month's loan.
The 22-year-old youth team product made his senior Wolves debut against Wigan in 2009 and has one first-team appearance to his name this season.
McCarthy spent last season on dual registration with Leigh Centurions.
Wildcats coach John Kear said: "Tyrone will add competition for the back row. He has been well schooled at Warrington and has big game experience."
