Smith is now combining the England job with coaching Warrington

Tony Smith has praised the Warrington fans after their successful Super League experience in Barcelona.

The match, which Wolves won 24-12, drew a crowd of 18,150 as more than 2,000 French supporters joined Wolves fans.

Head coach Smith told BBC Radio Manchester: "There were so many Warrington Wolves fans in Barcelona, it was unbelievable.

"We kept seeing them in the streets after the match and it was a fantastic weekend with fans' coaches everywhere."

"Leading up to the game, that usual continental type excitement with singing in the streets was everywhere we went.

"If they invited us back to play again next year I think we'd jump at it because it was a really great occasion at a fantastic venue."
