Morley happy to keep Wigan record

Morley's Wolves are level on points with Wigan with a game in hand

Warrington captain Adrian Morley has said he was pleased to see Wolves' recent home run against Wigan continue.

Wolves survived an early battering to win 16-8 on Friday and ensure they have not lost at home in the Super League to Warriors since 2003.

Morley told BBC Radio Manchester: "The Wigan win was a huge win for us. Wigan have not got a great record here, so it was good to keep that record going.

"We're heading in the right direction because we're grinding wins out."

He added: "When you put yourselves in a position where you've got a good defence, you tend to win more games than you lose. We're quite happy with the way things are going.

"Don't get me wrong, there's still plenty of room for improvement but we're reasonably happy."
