Salford second row Luke Adamson has praised the Reds defence after back-to-back Super League successes.

Shaun McRae's side are within four points of the top six following wins against Huddersfield and Bradford.

Adamson told BBC Radio Manchester: "What we're trying to pride ourselves on is our defence. We spoke about that during the Wigan and Huddersfield wins.

"They both had a lot of pressure on us on the line and we came up with the goods," the 21-year-old added.

"I'd like to think we've turned the corner - we've been building towards this season all year and, touch wood, we continue as we are."
