Wakefield centre Daryl Millard is facing a two-month lay-off with a knee ligament injury he suffered in the 12-8 defeat at Hull FC last weekend.

The 25-year-old Fiji international has made 13 appearances since joining from Canterbury Bulldogs.

"We're sufficiently well covered but he's our top try-scorer so we will miss him," said Wildcats coach John Kear.

"He's had the scans and the results and our doctor says it's going to be at least six to eight weeks."
