Kear's Wakefield face Leeds in Edinburgh this weekend |
Wakefield Trinity Wildcats head coach John Kear says everyone at the club needs to remain patient about the team's inconsistent form. The Wildcats have won just two of their last six Super League games and also been knocked out the Challenge Cup. "We are bit scratchy at present, but that's to be expected with the changes in players we've had to deal with," Kear told the BBC's Super League Show. "The upcoming two-week break will help us sort our problems out." Wakefield have lost the services of Danny Brough to Huddersfield Giants and Shane Tronc has returned to Australia for personal reasons, while Paul Cooke has moved in. Kear explained: "We started the season very well, but we've had a lot of disruption through losing Tronc and Brough. "What all that means is that we've had to do some practice that you'd normally do in pre-season with our six, seven and nine. That's important work for that triangle of players and now we have to start that again with different players. "So it will take some time to get that right and people like Paul up to speed. But I'm really looking forward to the break that is coming up now we are out the cup. "It means we can get in to some really hard work with our key combinations."
