Foster scored his first try of the season in the 30-16 win over Leeds |
St Helens centre Jamie Foster says they can use Saturday's 30-16 win over Leeds to kickstart their season. Saints' victory at Headingley came after last week's shock 27-16 home reverse by Harlequins. "We're really going to kick on now and I'm not just saying it. I really believe that," the 20-year-old told BBC Radio Merseyside. "We've turned things around and our mindset is really strong. I think we'll be a force to be reckoned with now." Foster, who made his Super League debut in April 2010 in Saints' 41-20 win over Leeds, is still in awe of the club, after coming through the youth ranks at Knowsley Road. "I'm very privileged to play for a fantastic team like St Helens," said Foster. "When I'm sitting there in the changing room before we go out, I'm looking around at fantastic players that I've looked up to for a lot of years. "It's something I really thrive on and I just can't wait to get out there and mix it with them."
