St Helens hooker Scott Moore has lost his appeal against a one-match ban incurred for a dangerous tackle on Leeds' Kevin Sinfield on Saturday.

Moore will now miss Friday's home date with old boss Mick Potter's Bradford.

Moore pleaded not guilty of using a technique which put 'undue pressure' on Sinfield's ankle and knee joints.

But the Rugby Football League disciplinary committee ruled that he had behaved in a manner contrary to the spirit of the game.

Moore's fine of £300 will also still stand.
