Leon Pryce to stay at St Helens for the 2011 season
Pryce missed the end of the 2010 season with a neck problem
St Helens stand-off Leon Pryce will remain at the club for the 2011 season, and insists that he wants to agree a new contract in the near future.
The 29-year-old had been linked with a return to former club Bradford, coached now by former Saints boss Mick Potter.
But Pryce told BBC Radio Merseyside: "I want to stay at Saints. I'm contracted here and hopefully I'll be offered a new contract some time.
"I love playing at Saints and I don't see myself going anywhere else."
He added: "I'm not going anywhere, but a contract has to be offered to me, just like it has to four or five other players.
"It's just the natural process when your contract comes to an end.
"There are always going to be rumours because it's rugby league.
"I've still got three or four years left to play and hopefully that will be with Saints."
Pryce, who has run in 71 tries in 152 games for Saints since his move to Knowsley Road from Odsal in 2006, missed the last two months of the 2010 season with a neck injury.
But he has now fully recovered ahead of the 2011 Super League campaign.
