Cunningham is free to play against Harlequins on Saturday

St Helens hooker Keiron Cunningham has escaped a ban after being cautioned for an incident which left Wakefield prop James Stosic with a broken eye socket.

Cunningham was deemed to have struck forward Stosic during Saints' surprise 22-20 Super League defeat by the Wildcats last Friday.

The incident occurred after a tackle by Stosic in the 68th minute at the GPW Recruitment Stadium.

St Helens' next game is at Harlequins on Saturday.
