Hull KR centre Kris Welham has signed a new three-year deal that will keep him at Craven Park until 2012. The 22-year-old has played in every game this season, and has helped the Robins climb to second place in the Super League table. "This is my hometown team and to play for them for the next three years is going to be very special," he said. Meanwhile, 18-year-old Rovers prop Liam Watts has joined Gateshead Thunder on loan for a month.
