Walker has been dogged by injury at Hull KR |
Hull Kingston Rovers centre Chev Walker has been ruled out for several weeks after suffering a shoulder injury. The 26-year-old picked up the problem during the club's 24-12 defeat at Warrington Wolves on Sunday. Coach Justin Morgan told BBC Radio Humberside: "He's dislocated his shoulder, that's confirmed. "He's going to see a surgeon and he's going to need an operation. We could patch him up and get him through to the end of the season." Morgan added: "The likelihood is, especially with rugby league players, that with a shoulder the chance of you dislocating again is guaranteed." Walker had only just returned to the Robins side following nearly a year out of the game with a serious wrist injury which required surgery.
