Jordan Turner is settling in with Hull FC after an uncomfortable start |
Hull FC are starting to see the best of close-season signing Jordan Turner, according to head coach Richard Agar. The 20-year-old, who is in his first season with the club after his move from Salford,d has scored two tries in his last two Super League games. "In fairness to him he didn't get a run in the centre because of Richard Whiting's good form," Agar told BBC Radio Humberside. "He's got his chance now. He's seized it and he's come in and played well. Turner has been used as makeshift stand-off this season but struggled with the change and as a result found himself without a regular first-team place. "We probably needed to get him in a little bit better shape and system-wise," added Agar. "We probably did things differently to how he'd done them in the past and he played a bit in the centre and a bit as a six."
