Hull are still unsure of the extent of Yeaman's injury |
X-rays have revealed that Hull centre Kirk Yeaman did not break his leg in the Challenge Cup defeat by Leeds. The 27-year-old Great Britain international was stretchered off during Saturday's game, prompting fears he could be out for up to six weeks. But a club statement on Monday read: "Results have shown there are no breaks and his condition will be monitored closely over the next couple of days." Hull face an injury crisis with up to eight players rated doubtful. They face Wakefield on Friday in a Super League clash and could again be without skipper Sean Long, Shaun Berrigan, Mark Calderwood and Reece Lyne. Yeaman, Danny Tickle, Mark O'Meley and Lee Radford were all injured in Saturday's 48-24 defeat by Leeds. Meanwhile, the Rugby Football League is investigating reports of crowd trouble at the tie. The RFL is working with both clubs on the investigation but neither will comment further on the situation.
