Bell is a former State of Origin player with Queensland

Catalans Dragons have signed Australian centre Steve Bell on a two-year deal from the start of next season.

The 32-year-old, who plays with NRL leaders Manly, began his professional career with the Melbourne Storm and has played 158 games, scoring 87 tries.

He will replace John Wilson, who will be return to Australia at the end of the current season.

"I have always wanted to play Super League and I can think of no better club to do it," said Bell.
