Tuson has played twice for Wigan |
Castleford Tigers have signed back-row forward Chris Tuson from Wigan Warriors on a one-month loan deal. The 20-year-old, who can also play loose forward, made his second senior appearance for Wigan as a substitute in Sunday's 36-22 win over Tigers. Castleford coach Terry Matterson said: "He is an aggressive strong running back rower and I'm sure he will prove a very useful addition to the squad." Tuson has been included in the squad for Friday's match with Crusaders. Matterson added: "Chris is a player I have been looking at for a few weeks and would have liked to have brought him in earlier had we not had Wigan coming up when I couldn't have played him. "But it's worked well, he got a run out on Sunday and I thought that he looked very competent." Meanwhile, Cas have recruited Richard Tunningley from the RFL as their new Player Performance Manager.
