Feather has had spells at Bradford, Leeds and Wakefield |
Chris Feather, Ryan Boyle and Ryan Clayton will leave Castleford following the end of their contracts. Prop forward Boyle joined the club in 2005 and made 58 appearances, while Feather has played 27 times this year since joining from Bradford. Clayton was in his second spell with the Tigers, clocking up 76 games. Coach Terry Matterson said: "I'd like to thank the guys for their efforts, and also James Ford, whose departure was announced some weeks ago." He added: "I didn't plan too many changes to the squad, with these four being the only senior players leaving the club. "We have brought two new guys on board and I plan to promote two of the club's promising young players, Jordan Thompson and John Davies, to the senior squad, but we are also still looking to bring a couple of additional signings on board."
