National League One side Halifax have signed Bradford Bulls prop Matt James on a one-year loan deal.

The 21-year-old Wales international played six times for the Bulls in the Super League this season.

Halifax coach Matt Calland said: "I've been chasing him for about a year now. Bradford feel that this is the right time for him to come out on loan."

The signing follows the addition of Harlequins utility player Dwayne Barker on a one-year deal.
