Bradford signed Tupou to replace Lesley Vainikolo a year ago |
Bradford Bulls winger Tame Tupou will miss the rest of the season. The 25-year-old New Zealand international needs an operation to repair his anterior cruciate ligament and will not play again this year. Bulls coach Steve McNamara said: "It's very disappointing for both the player and the club and it's another major injury for us. "The injury to Tame is a bad one and he has been advised that it needs operating on immediately." It is another injury blow for the Bulls who have already lost back-row forward Glenn Morrison for the rest of the campaign with a serious knee injury. Tupou joined the club last year as a replacement for the prolific Lesley Vainikolo, who left the club to join rugby union side Gloucester.
