Bradford have appointed Steve McNamara as head coach in place of Brian Noble after he left to become Wigan boss. The 34-year-old was previously assistant coach to Noble, who is also coach of the Great Britain side.
Bradford said they had appointed McNamara "in accordance with our policy of appointing our most senior coaching personnel from within".
Earlier this month McNamara turned down the chance to take over at Hull after they axed John Kear as coach.
McNamara faces a tough task following Noble, who guided the Bulls to five straight Super League Grand Finals, winning three of them.
But BBC Sport's Dave Woods understands he had already been promised the job from the end of next year anyway, when Noble had signalled he would be leaving the Bulls.
