Catalans' Walker gets two game ban after Colbon injury

Catalans' full-back Walker will miss two matches

Catalans Dragons full-back Chris Walker will miss his club's next two Super League fixtures after being found guilty of illegal use of the forearm.

Walker was also fined £300 for the challenge that left Hull KR's Liam Colbon with a broken jaw last Saturday.

But Leeds' prop Ryan Bailey can play against Bradford on Thursday, despite being found guilty of making an illegal tackle on Wigan's Stuart Fielden.

The RFL disciplinary committee ruled a £300 fine was sufficient punishment.

Bailey was charged with making a tackle that placed undue pressure on the shoulder joint of Fielden during Friday's defeat at Wigan. The Disciplinary Committee noted Bailey had received two warnings for similar offences this season.

Two players from Co-operative Championship clubs have been suspended after being found guilty of foul play in recent matches.

Toulouse Olympique prop Brendan Worth has been banned for one match and fined £50 for head-butting a Keighley Cougars player in the sides' Co-operative Championship fixture in Toulouse on March 20. Worth, who was sent off, pleaded guilty.

Hunslet Hawks player Richard Chapman was also suspended for one match and fined £50 for a high tackle on Luke Branighan in a Northern Rail Cup tie at Halifax on March 21.

The Disciplinary Committee took into consideration Chapman's guilty plea, his immediate remorse and the fact that this was his first appearance before them for six years in handing down a one-match suspension for the Grade B offence.
