Super League clubs are preparing for the start of the new season in early February with a host of pre-season friendlies. Wigan's new Samoan centre George Carmont marked his debut for the Warriors with a try in their 28-16 victory over Bradford in Paul Deacon's testimonial at Odsal.
The defeat came at a price for the Bulls with both David Solomona and Semi Tadulala suffering injuries which will rule them out of the start of the season.
Elsewhere, Huddersfield got the better of Super League newcomers Castleford while Wakefield easily got the better of York City Knights.
