Leeds Rhinos will begin the defence of their Super League title in 2008 at home to Hull KR. The match is being brought forward from round four to 2 February to enable the Rhinos to play Melbourne Storm in the World Club Challenge on 29 February.
Newly-promoted Castleford will kick off their campaign against Catalans Dragons at the Jungle on 9 Feburary.
The first full round of fixtures for Super League XIII will take place from 8-10 February 2008.
