 Leeds will be looking to repeat their win of 2005 |
The 2008 World Club Challenge between Super League champions Leeds and Melbourne Storm will take place at Elland Road on Friday 29 February. The annual showdown between the Super League and NRL champions returns to the venue where Leeds won the world title in 2005, beating Canterbury 39-32.
"It's fantastic for the Leeds people to have it in the city so they can support their team," said coach Brian McLennan.
"This venue is right for the game. I'm sure it will be supported by everyone."
