Chris Thorman's 100% kicking record proved the difference between the sides as Huddersfield survived a Wolves revival for a second consecutive win.
Brad Drew scored first after a clever dummy, with Henry Fa'afili replying before Eorl Crabtree and Martin Aspinwall reinforced the Giants' lead.
Trailing 22-8 at the break the Wolves needed an early strike which came from Martin Gleeson.
Fa'afili bagged another but Thorman's seven out of seven record was decisive.
