Catalans 28-34 Hull
Centre Kirk Yeaman scored his second successive hat-trick as Hull won their third Super League game in a row.

Jamal Fakir gave Catalans an early lead before the visitors countered with two tries in five minutes from Yeaman.

Nathan Blacklock gave Hull a half-time lead but tries from Michael Dobson and Justin Murphy brought the French side back into the match.

Yeaman's third try proved decisive despite Shaun Rudder crossing to set up a frantic last two minutes.

Yeaman injured his jaw after his first try and got a bad crack on the head after his second.

  • Hull caretaker coach Richard Agar:
"Kirk was in cloud cuckoo land for the remainder of the game - which included his hat-trick try."

  • Catalans coach Mick Potter:
"We got some cheap touchdowns, and did not earn the right to get back into the game as we did at one period after the interval."

Catalans: Beattie, Berthezene, Bosc, Chan, Cologni, Dobson, Fakir, Fellous, Guisset, Hindmarsh, Hughes, Jampy, Mounis, Murphy, Rinaldi, Rudder, Verges, Wilson.

Hull: Briscoe, Blacklock, Yeaman, Domic, R. Horne, Dowes, Swain, Carvell, Radford, McMenemy, Cooke, Tony, King, Brough, Thackray, Dixon, Hill, Washbrook.
