Huddersfield reignited their Super League play-off hopes with a comfortable win over Salford. Brad Drew claimed an impressive double with tries at the start and end of the first half for an 18-6 lead.
Stuart Donlan and substitute Eorl Crabtree were also on the scoresheet by half-time, while Martin Aspinwall wrapped up the win after the break.
Luke Robinson, Aaron Moule and substitute Stephen Myler all touched down for Salford.
Papua New Guinea winger John Wilshere went from hero to villain for Salford's visit to the Galpharm Stadium.
Wilshere's kick-through allowed Robinson to go over the line 15 minutes in and he then converted the try to level the scores at 6-6.
But, after Donlan's reply, he blundered on 28 minutes by dropping a pass from Stuart Littler close to his own try-line and enabling Crabtree to collect the loose ball and dive over.
Drew scored again before the break as Huddersfield's pack constantly pressured Salford and Aspinall touched down in the right-hand corner to ensure victory.
But the visitors' misery was completed in the closing stages when Malcolm Alker was sin-binned for starting a mass brawl.
Huddersfield coach Jon Sharp:
"Drew is a great player and has continued performing well despite taking on extra responsibilities while (skipper Chris) Thorman is out. "Some of the credit for that must go to Paul March as he's filled in at stand-off to allow Drew to carry on with his normal game.
"Our defence was good throughout. It was an important win for us."
Salford coach Karl Harrison:
"It was a poor result and we did not play well at all. We gave away too many penalties and gave the ball away too much. "The pressure was on us to go out there and give a good account of ourselves and we failed. The better side on the day won deservedly."
