Adrian Morley has no qualms about facing old club Leeds in Saturday's engage Super League Grand Final.
"It's not awkward," the Bradford Bulls player told BBC Sport. "I half knew we would have to play them at some point because they were going so well."
And Morley is keen to make his former team-mates suffer at Old Trafford, particularly pal Barrie McDermott.
"I would like nothing better than to ruin his last Leeds game by defeating him," said the Salford-born forward.
"I spoke to Barrie half-a-dozen times since I've been back, but we won't speak now till after the game when one's commiserating and one's celebrating."
Morley spent nine years at Leeds, helping them win the Challenge Cup in 1999 before leaving in 2000 to join leading NRL side Sydney Roosters.
He signed for Bradford on a short-term deal and will return to Australia after representing Great Britain in the Tri-Nations.
