Bizarre injury forces Ainscough out
Wigan's Jamie Ainscough
Ainscough has played three games since the incident
Wigan's Australian three-quarter Jamie Ainscough was forced to miss his side's 40-18 win at Warrington on Monday - after having a tooth pulled from his arm.

The former St George Illawarra winger discovered the tooth - which belonged to St Helens centre Martin Gleeson - after he went for hospital X-rays earlier this week.

"He had to have an operation to have the tooth pulled," said Wigan coach Stuart Raper.

"I think he's sent it back in the post!"

Ainscough played all three of Wigan's matches since the incident in the game with Saints on 30 July but went for a check-up after the arm became infected.
