St Hilaire has scored 23 tries in 73 appearances for the Roughyeds |
Oldham Roughyeds centre Marcus St Hilaire has agreed a new one-year deal. The 33-year-old has spent time in the Super League with Huddersfield, Leeds and Bradford and joined Oldham at the start of the 2008 season. Coach Tony Benson told the club website: "Marcus could have gone to one of any number of clubs but he didn't want to move. I really appreciate that. "He has been very loyal and is a top pro, probably the most professional player I've ever coached." He added: "He is always ready to give younger boys the benefit of his experience and commands a lot of respect in the dressing room, when he speaks the others listen. "We have signed a lot of young players and will be a great help to them, especially to the outside backs."
