Assistant coach Paul Rowley says Leigh Centurions will have "more focus" for Thursday's Northern Rail Cup semi-final against weekend conquerors Batley. Leigh went down 32-12 at Mount Pleasant to fall six points behind Championship leaders Featherstone. Rowley told BBC Radio Manchester: "We'll come a lot stronger, we'll come a lot harder, a lot more focused. "Ok, we'd like to have won on Sunday but I'm pretty confident it'll be a different game on Thursday." He added: "At the weekend we expected a really enthusiastic Batley side as Karl Harrison (Batley coach) oozes enthusiasm and passion and they showed that against us, so we were bitterly disappointed to come away with no points. "Our execution and finishes in the first half were very much below average and we'll need to change that come Thursday. "Batley were probably a bit more clinical, a bit more organised and consistent in what they were doing. "It was a bad day at the office on Sunday and we'll live and learn."
