Burgess was selected for the NRL All Stars in February

South Sydney Rabbitohs forward Sam Burgess says that the national team could benefit from more English players joining him in the NRL.

The 21-year-old joined the Bunnies from Bradford at the end of last season.

He joins fellow NRL players Gareth Widdop and Gareth Ellis in the England team to play France at Leigh Sports Village on Saturday.

He told BBC Radio Manchester: "There'll be a bigger flow of English going over which could be good for the game."
