Defender Scott Wiseman has signed a new two-year deal with Rochdale after being a virtual ever-present at Spotland last season in League Two.
The 24-year-old from Hull, who joined Dale in August 2008 from Darlington, said he was looking forward to the prospect of playing in League One.
"It will be a big challenge for us and there will be new grounds to visit," he told the club website.
"I'm very pleased to sign. It would've been sooner but I've been on holiday."
