Rochdale have extended the contract of full-back Scott Wiseman until the end of the current season.
The 22-year-old has made 17 appearances for the Dale since moving to Spotland from League Two rivals Darlington on a free transfer in August.
He told the club's website: "Signing again was not a problem because I am really enjoying my time here.
"The gaffer [Keith Hill] has told me to keep proving myself and that is what I'll do, hopefully I can kick on now."
