Henderson is a Scotland international

Barrow have signed Scotland hooker Andrew Henderson from Gateshead Thunder for the 2010 Championship season.

Henderson, 30, returns to the club he represented between 2001 and 2003 as replacement for Harlequins-bound hooker Andy Ellis.

Since leaving Raiders Henderson has been at Castleford, where he gained Super League promotion and Gateshead, who he helped to safety last term.

Raiders boss Steve McCormack managed Henderson last season at Gateshead.
