Ostler was carried off in the final league game against Sheffield

Barrow Raiders will be without second row forward Martin Ostler for the Championship play-offs after X-rays revealed a broken leg.

Ostler, 29, picked up the injury during the defeat by Sheffield last week.

Although he was stretchered off the field, initial tests appeared to rule out a break - but further X-rays revealed a broken fibula.

Barrow take on Halifax in a semi-final qualifier later this month after topping the Championship.
