Thunder lost 52-16 at the International Stadium

Gateshead Thunder travel to the Stade Des Minimes for their maiden encounter against Championship rivals Toulouse on Saturday evening.

Thunder were well beaten by the French side earlier in the season, losing 52-16 in a disappointing display.

Steve McCormack's side continue to battle relegation following last weekend's 34-34 draw with Batley.

Toulouse meanwhile are pushing for an outside chance of the play-offs, having beaten Featherstone 34-18 last weekend.
