Whitehaven exacted revenge on rivals Barrow with a 28-4 Cumbrian-derby win in the Championship on Thursday. Wing James Nixon gave the Raiders the perfect start when he opened the scoring with a try but Haven replied with two tries before the break. Three unanswered tries in the second 40 minutes ensured the bragging rights went to Ged Stokes' Marras, with Rob Jackson's brace a highlight. The win leaves Haven in fifth, level with Featherstone, Barrow are second.
