Dominic is the son of Hull FC legend John Maloney

Championship leaders Halifax have signed Hull prop Dominic Maloney on loan until the end of the season.

The 22-year-old goes straight into the Halifax squad for Saturday night's Co-operative Championship match against Toulouse in France.

Maloney joined Hull from Dewsbury on a 12-month deal a year ago and has made seven substitute appearances in the Super League.

Maloney trained with his new team-mates on Wednesday night.
