Clark has led Barrow to the final of the Northern Rail Cup
Barrow coach Dave Clark has paid tribute to his 'big-name' players for their role in Thursday's Northern Rail Cup semi-final win over Featherstone.
Raiders were 16-10 victors as the experience of former Super League players such as Ned Catic and Paul Noone played a crucial part in the win.
"They're leaders out there on the field, they've been there before," he told BBC Radio Cumbria.
"It's just great to have players like that out there, they never give in."
Also among the heroes was double try-scorer Andy Ellis, whose late try handed Barrow the lead after interchange Joe Hirst had put Rovers into the lead with a try converted by Kyle Briggs.
And Ellis admitted the win is a testament to the team spirit and togetherness within the squad at Craven Park.
"I've been in the Northern Rail Cup final twice before, I've been on the winning side and on the losing side," he said.
"I know how good it is to win and how bad it is to lose, but credit to the team and we stuck in there.
"It's good fun at Barrow, good team, good crowd and hopefully we'll go further in this competition, and in the league as well."
