York City Knights will be without half-back Danny Grimshaw for the trip to London Skolars due to a groin injury. Coach Paul March told BBC Radio York: "He pulled his groin in training, we hoped to have him playing last Sunday but over the weekend he's got worse." Loose-forward David March also missed the Rochdale game but his twin brother hopes his calf injury will have recovered in time for Sunday's game. "His influence on the field is massive, especially for the forwards," he added. "He's one of the most influential players we've got and we need to make sure he's on the field as much as we can this year, instead of off it." March was far from happy at last week's capitulation at Rochdale after taking an 18-0 lead in the first ten minutes. | We can't wait to go to London on Sunday and put some things right |
"We haven't been in an 18-point lead, so it was new to a lot of players and we didn't handle that well. "It might be the same this weekend, where we go into a big lead again, but with this mistake we'll have learned from that. "It's a learning curve, they just want to put it right and that's why we can't wait to go to London on Sunday and put some things right." London Skolars won their first game of the season last week at Workington so March does not expect an easy ride. "We went down there last year after winning four in a row and everyone had us down as favourites, and we went into a big lead and threw it away. "We've got to be on our guard, stick to the game plan and hopefully we'll come out on top."
