Stand-off Iestyn Harris believes Featherstone Rovers can cause a Challenge Cup shock and beat former club Warrington Wolves on Sunday.
The former Wales international started his career at the Wolves back in 1995.
He told BBC Radio Leeds: "They have some great players and coaches so can blow anyone away on their day.
"We have to be on our game and get that bit of luck too. We have the ability to score points, but whether we can stop Warrington scoring is another matter."
Harris, who joined Leeds in 1997 and also had a spell with Bradford Bulls, added: "We just have to throw everything possible at them and see what happens, but it certainly won't be for the lack of trying I can promise you that.
"We are excited by the challenge and a few years ago Featherstone almost beat Catalans in the cup, so there are the players in the squad to cause an upset."
BBC Radio Leeds has full match commentary of Featherstone Rovers v Warrington Wolves on 92.4 FM, 774 AM, DAB & online from 1340 BST.
