Former Bradford star Iestyn Harris was a thorn in Whitehaven's side |
Whitehaven were blown away by Championship title rivals Featherstone Rovers in a 44-16 defeat on Sunday. The Marras won 52-26 in West Yorkshire in March but Daryl Powell's Rovers avenged that loss by beating Haven on their home soil. Scores were level after the first half, with two converted tries apiece. However a second-half rout inspired by Rovers stand-off Iestyn Harris culminated in six tries and secured a comfortable win. Ged Stokes's side are now without a win in three games, following a trio of defeats against Barrow, Halifax and Rovers.
