Barrow Raiders racked up nine tries in Sunday's 54-12 win at Championship One side Rochdale in the Northern Rail Cup.

Raiders notched three tries to Dale's two in a close opening period, but scorched away in the second to run in six without reply.

Wing Mike Backhouse grabbed a hat-trick while fellow wing James Finch grabbed a brace for the visitors.

The win maintains the Raiders' 100% record, ahead of the trip to fellow Championship side Halifax on Sunday.
