Whitehaven have completed the signing of forward Soni Radovanovic from Serbian side Dorcol. The 20-year-old has been a regular with the Serbian national side and coach Ged Stokes is confident he will adapt well to Championship standard. "Soni is a good player and he may well be good enough for the top of the Championship," he said. "He is a strong runner, passer and tackler. He has played in all of the last 12 internationals." Radovanovic was the youngest debutant in the Serbian national team when he appeared at the age of 18 and has also played at National League Three level with Warrington Wizards. The Marras hope to have the Serbian in their team a week on Sunday when a full-strength Bradford Bulls are the visitors to the Recreation Ground for a friendly.
